No Object selection Tool in Macbook-based Photoshop 24

Community Beginner ,

I recently updated Photoshop and Lightroom Classic on my 2020 Macbook Pro with Monterey, and on my PC with Windows 10. Lightroom has updated fine on both machines but on my Macbook the Object Selection Tool is missing in Photoshop, although it's there on my PC version. Is this a bug or do I need to uninstall Phototshop and re-install it? Is there another reason why this might have happened?

Hi

Have you checked the Workspace, you may be in something other than Essentials, if it's not that then a reinstall might be the best bet

Thanks. I had previously created a custom workspace. Changing to the Essentials workspace has done the trick, so thanks for your help. Problem solved!
