None of the styles in my Styles window work!

Help, I'm in Photoshop 2024 v25.0.0 on Mac and all my styles in my Styles window are greyed out. None of them work, not even the Legacy ones.

Clicking on them does nothing and double-clicking on them simply brings up the dialog box for renaming them.

I updated my preferenes, but that did not help. I turned on the Legacy styles, and they also don't work.

How do I get my styles to actually work? Thank you.

Are you sure your not on a Background Layer?

Can you post a screenshot of Photoshop icluding the Layers panel?

What version of macOS are you using?

Did you reset the Photoshop preferences?

Is that correct that your on the base version of Photoshop 2024 (ps ver 25.0) with no updates?

If so, in Photoshop go to Help>Updates and install the 25.12 update and see if that makes any difference.
