Normal Photoshop & Photoshop Beta can't get to open them simultaneously

I have PS (normal, v26.6) open. Now I also wish to open PS Beta v26.7. But I cannot open it. If I close normal PS and then open Beta, I can. Similarly, if my PS Beta is open, I cannot open normal PS. I can open only one PS at a time from LRC also. Deepending on what I set in preferences. Is this the normal behaviour of PS & PS Beta? How do I enable both to run simultaneously?
