Not a question of highlights, just my PC monitor screen flashing when I open an image in PS.

latest update 30th March caused a catastrophic failure in my PS.  When I attempt to load an image file, I can see a thumbnail in the layers panel but everything else does not work.

@dorothyc6998995 go to Edit > Preferences > Technology Previews and enable this option, then restart Photoshop
