Not allow me to “Save for web (legacy)...”

I don't know if it happens to you too. In version 26.2.0, it does not allow me to “Save for web (legacy)...” Does it also happen to you? Have you been able to solve it? How have you been able to solve it?

I do not have the option to export that way. It appears deactivated in the menu...

This is something that Adobe modernised with Export As.

Export As is missing lots of the tools and fine controls in Save for Web. If Export As had more options like GIF animation and .webp I'd be all for it. Save for Web auto converts the dpi, lets you choose a preview colorspace, gives more metadata options, etc. Export As has some nice things like SVG, but it doesn't have some crucial components.

On my machine... that is not the right answer as my "save for web (legacy)" does not work in 8 bit,  16 bit or 32 bit.  I read that Adobe said clear your preferences... really?  I don't want to have to manually reconfigure my photoshop on my Win 10 64g ram machine.  This needs to get fixed.

Save for Web will work for us for a while and then NOTHING. You click on it and nothing happens. Then you have to restart Photoshop. Super annoying. Did you find a solution?

So far just a dismissive "Save for Web is old, out of date" response despite it being different than Export As with additional features and Export As not having key features.
