I downloaded Photoshop Beta but do not see the new Remove Tool in the Tools Panel, and it's not there in the list of tools when I edit the Tools panel tools.

Hi @TC Conner check your version number make sure you are running Beta 24.5  it's my understanding it was a phased rollout so you may have to uninstall the beta and then make sure your CC desktop app is updated before installing.

Hi and thank you Kevin,

I discovered that it wasn't actually a problem at all, it was just that I had not opened PS Beta and was using my regular version of PS. Now when I want to experiment with the Remove Tool, I right click on the image and open it with PS Beta instead of the normal version. Thanks again for your reply.

If you are running the new version of Photoshop 24.5.0, you may wish to try going to Edit > Toolbar... to see if "Remove Tool" is currently listed under "Extra Tools." If it is, you can drag it over to the left side of available tools in the "Toolbar." I had to manually do this after updating to 24.5.0.

Hi @SI_MSD7 Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've looked into the issue and noticed the absence of the Removal Tool is associated with my Virtual environment. I run Windows 11 via Parallels on my Mac Studio M1 Max and I don't see the Removal Tool in v 24.5 nor in the latest Beta (v 24.7.0) on the Windows/VM side. On the macOS side, the Removal Tool is present and works fine in v 24.5.

For the most part, Generative Fill seems to be working OK in the Beta on the Windows/VM side albeit a few noticeable glitches and an error pop-up re: "Graphic processor is incompatible". I'm sure this is due to running Parallels since the Beta works fine on the macOS side without the same issues seen on the VM side.

Unfortunately I don't have a dedicated Windows machine to verify/confirm this is solely a Virtual Machine issue rather than Windows issue. For now I'll just use PS in macOS which provides better performance anyway.
