Nothing but problems with latest upgrade

The quick export as PNG simply doesn't do anything, no dialog on export as either.

It seems that overlays are completely off. For instance, if I create a square and add a new layer that is 1 pixel smaller on each side they don't line up. You would expect them to sit on top with a 1 pixel bezel aropund teh square.

Finally the tool just randomly locks up. This has never happened in the past. I have a Mac Pro with 32 GB, M2 Max. I do serious development on this machine. Have had to resort to an older Intel based iMac at times to get some stuff done.

I do not have the same issues with the Beta but I use it less.
This release appears to be way off.

If you updated Photoshop recently, then perhaps a Photoshop preferences reset will set things staight.

Even if you haven't maybe something in the preferences file has become corrupted.

TY for this. I did a reset. The app crashed on save. I restarted the app and tried a preferences reset again. This time it stuck and the issues I was having went away. I should have thought of this. Will certainly remember!

I am not sure I understand; could you please post screenshots taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Hi, wanted to follow up. I did the reset that Jeff suggested and it solved the instability issues. The app was having all sorts of lock ups and just hung. The overlay issue was occurring as I copied a layer from one image to another, same profiles for each image as I carry different presets for different mediums. I most likely had a corrupted set of preferences and perhaps a corrupted cache. If it happens again I will certainly take a screen shot and post. Thank you for reaching out.
