Hello,

Laptop specifications intel i7-8550U, nVidia MX110, SSD, 8GB RAM.

I want to use photoshop for some simpler projects because I'm a beginner, but I have a performance problem. Some parts are slow and do not load properly. I looked on the internet for some solutions but they were not very successful.

Can anyone help me how to set up a laptop for better performance?

Hi Nikson,
Thanks for reaching out! We are sorry for the trouble with Photoshop. We are here to help!

Are you noticing the drop in performance during any specific operations? Does this happen with all images or any particular set of documents? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Please try the following steps to optimize Photoshop's performance by following a short video.

and other detailed suggestions in the article below.

You are using MX110 GPU, which only handles around 700-800 at operations per second, while a minimum of 2000 is recommended. This can restrict the performance. To know more about the system requirements, please check here:

Please let us know if this helps!
Thanks,
Sameer K.
