nVidia Quadro K4200 is not compatible with the last version of Photoshop?

Hello,

My GPU (nVidia Quadro K4200) is not compatible with the last version of Photoshop.

Is there any way to solve it?

What was the last version in which this GPU works?

It´s possible to get oldest versions? At least one not too different from the last one, but that my GPU works.

Thanks for all!

Regards

Bernadett

This GPU model was released in 2014. It only supports DirectX feature level 11.0. Photoshop requires feature level 12.0.

DirectX feature level is not to be confused with DirectX "support". The feature level is the card's actual capabilities, what it can do. That's a hardware requirement and not something that can be updated in software.

I don't know the latest Photoshop version that would work with this GPU, but I would guess maybe 2019 or 2020. Unfortunately the CC app only offers the current and previous version - but it also keeps version 22 live (because it was the last version with stable 3D functionality). You can try that, but no guarantees.

Photoshop will basically work without full GPU support, but you lose a lot of functionality. ACR will not run at all.

@Bernadett36701812diid you can install previous versions from the CC app

One of the 24.xx versions may work, failing that you can install version 22.2
