Object moves automatically after leaving the mouse button in Photoshop

In Photoshop 21.2, I'm dragging/moving an object to a new position. After I release the mouse button the element occasionaly move a bit, jump away, usually in the direction in a way the cursor left the release place. It's really annoying. It's new for me, and it's only in PS.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Hi there,

As the object moves after you release the mouse button, could you please go to View on top and make sure Snap is not checked?

I am using version 25.8.0 and still having this problem! It seems so fundamental to Photoshop and I have to deal with it constantly. Turning on Snap (or turning off) does not help. It's not snap. Please help!

What zoom ratio are you working at?

If zoomed in greater than 100% objects will move to align to the pixel grid.

The more you are zoomed in, the more apparent this be.

Thanks for asking. I am at 100%. I have tried different zoom levels in and out. Obviously hader to get precise when zoomed out though. It is just an odd quirk, I have been using PS for many years and this did not used to happen, so I assume there is a setting I can change or this is a bug. But is it just me? When I drag an item with my mouse, I line it up where I want, then when I let it go it shifts a bit, like it was bumped. I am using Phtoshop (Beta) 25.8.0 - so maybe its a bug in Beta?

I saw a fix for it involving deleting some files and reinstalling, but I can't find that article now.
