Hello Experts!
I posted a few days ago that my Object Removal tool isn’t working properly. Sometimes it works fine, but other times it gets stuck. When I turn off AI mode, it works for a few tries, then the same issue comes back. If I reset the tool, it works for a while again. This problem never happened before, and it’s driving me crazy when I’m working on projects that need to be delivered on time.
Another tool I love is Dust Removal. But why isn’t it available in LrC? Also, there’s no way to use it in batch. I tried using it in Bridge, but when exporting, some files don’t apply the effect after export. I really wish it was in LrC or at least had a batch-processing option.
And finally, the latest LrC keeps fetching files for a long time and takes extra time when exporting. I honestly don’t know what to do. I know I could downgrade LrC and solve the problem, but Denoise is very important for me. The problem there is that it no longer works in the background as it did in the previous version. I like to apply Denoise after a day of shooting and work on other files at the same time, but now that doesn’t work.
The same goes for Dust Removal. Opening every file in Photoshop and applying it manually is so time-consuming.
Photoshop Version- 26.10
LrC version- 15.5.1
Mac OS- 14.7.6

Hey, @Radoan A. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. We're glad to hear you like the Dust Removal and appreciate the feedback. It is definitely evolving.
Let us work on the issue you've reported about the Object Removal tool. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info > Copy and paste it into a text document > Upload and attach it here.
Do you see any errors, or does it not produce satisfactory results? If it is not working, does this happen after a specific set of usages or a specific structure of layers?
In Photoshop > Edit > Image Processing & set the Remove Tool Processing to More stable.
Also, please test and confirm if the issue exists with Photoshop (Beta). You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello @Sameer K Thanks for your response. I already sent you the log in another post. I also want to let you know that I have upgraded my macOS to 15.6.1, and there are no more updates available for Photoshop or Lightroom Classic.
I’m still having the same issue with the Remove tool. Could you please also explain why the Dust Removal tool isn’t available in Lightroom Classic, or how I can use it in batch? I tried using Bridge, but when exporting it creates some weird issues and I don’t like using Bridge.

Hi @Radoan A, thanks for sharing the details! Since we’re on the Photoshop board, let’s focus on the Photoshop issue for now. For anything related to Lightroom Classic, I’d recommend posting separately in the Lightroom Classic board so it gets the right attention.
Could you share a bit more about what’s not working with the Object Removal tool? If possible, a screen recording would be super helpful so we can take a closer look.
Thanks!
Alek
