Objects keep moving after being placed

Hello all,

I've been attempting to move a number of grouped layers of objects to align them with text. I would provide a screenshot but I am at work and have no access to my laptop. To put it simply, I am able to move the grouped layers exactly where I want them to be, with the pink guides showing me that the layers align with the nearby text, but when I let go of my mouse to place the objects, they all move out of place to the left. I don't want to have to move them all individually when I am supposed to be able to just place them as a group.

I appreciate any help with how to get this to stop!

Hi @kirbydoo go to View Menu and turn off Snap. It could be snapping to other items in the document.

Thank you! That helped to get the objects in the right place. I also exited Photoshop and reopened my document.
