I restore old photos. Many are terrribly blurry. All that I read says you cannot fix, but I have seen some that have been restoree to amazingly sharpness, almost as good as new. They are sharp!
Ihave tried virtually very trick in the book, and, althoug achiving some moderate success, I have not attained the level of these photos that I have seed that looked almest new.. I have Topaz AI sharpen and denoise. I have tried to blur and unblur.on PHotosop.. I have tried to make the image larger in photoshop. Nothing. Someone knows how to do this ... I have seen their work. (their method may be a secret}. Any suggestions? Am I not using Topaz correctly?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on how blurry the photo is, I found Filter/Shatpen/Un sharp mask or Shake reduction, sharpen edges. A lot of patients and playing around with other filters. Also using the tools, like healing brush, clone tool, dodg tool. All in photoshop.

Hi @belcamp george As you know, so much depends on the files you have to work with and if you are going for print or screen output. The Nik Collection Sharpener Pro 3 (output sharpener) does one of the quickest jobs I've seen with fairly good options for refinements. Here is an example straight in without any adjustments:

They look like works of art, don't they? That's because they are, sort of. Use the original photo as the background, trace the edges and make selections, then re-create the selections using Photoshop's various painting tools. You're only limited by your artistic awareness. Someone with significant experience or a degree in art will produce better results because they're aware of a host of details the ordinary Photoshop user isn't. Pay attention to the details.
