Old Custom brush crashing Photoshop

Couldn't find anything like this in my searches so I'm hoping someone can give me an answer for this issue;

I have an old (PS 2017) custom brush I made that I exported/imported as an abr to a newer device using PS 2020, both on Windows 10. The brush has been in the PS 2020 version for about a month with no problems until I started to use it today. Using this brush seems to be causing PS to crash within about 10 minutes. I was using PS earlier today with different brushes and it worked just fine. Really disappointed since it's my favorite brush and I finally figured out how to transfer it over. Help appreciated!

The brush works fine for me on a Mac with Catalina - no crashing.

I can not reproduce your problem on windows after playing with your brush couple of minutes, everything works fine. I have used default size and increased brush size to 65px in the document 720x960px.

Is it huge? on a ! bits RGB document? can you share the brush?

    The brush file is 18KB and I believe I've tested it on both CMYK and RGB documents, if that answers your question.

    It doesn't seem that I can attach the brush file here.

    Please, check if using that brush over different images cause photoshop crash.

    I tried the brush with a different document and photoshop crashed again. This happens when using the brush as a regular brush, and as a mixer brush.

    Can you re-create the brush? I have never heard or experienced a brush causing PS to crash and I have brushes from the 90's.
