A jpeg of mine is opening up in Camera Raw. But no others. All other jpegs opening up normal Photoshop. What is going on with the one image, and what to do? Thanks
1 Correct answer
At default settings, jpegs that already have ACR adjustment metadata, will continue to open through ACR. Jpegs without metadata will open directly in Photoshop.
You can change this is ACR preferences > jpeg and TIFF handling, by setting it to either open all jpegs, or disable jpeg support.

Thanks D worked. Did not remember bringing that one into ACR before, but who knows. Now I a have new problem. When I right click on the image, I don't see "open in ACR" as I think I used to. So now: How do I get it into ACR in future? (kind of maddening).. I"m Mac, I remember right click open Adboe camera raw option, don't see it now..

I have also noticed it no longer works in my case. The option is just no longer there in the right-click menu.
The image processor option has also been gone a short while after I installed also the beta version of Photoshop.
I will be grateful for a solution.

Ok, I got a hold of it.
As I got (in Bridge) to Edit/Camera Raw preferences/File handling and I set the "JPG" drop down to "Automatically open all supported JPEGs" it got back to normal.
