one pixel wide black line around dds file

Hello,
Am wondering if someone can help me finding out what I might be doing wrong.
First of all, the problem might not be caused by Adobe Photoshop settings, but I've been unable to find an answer elsewhere.
For some game skinning I need to save files as a .dds, when I do that using photoshop and the nvidia plugin with every file saved as .dds there's a one pixel wide black line around the entire image (the outer pixel of the original image, not an extra line), when I save the same file as jpeg, psd or bmp it doesn't happen.
For larger files it doesn't matter that much, but for smaller ones I have to switch between programs (paint.net) to work around it.
I have tried all variants of dds and that didn't make a difference.
For most pixel related things I use the standard settings.
Hope someone can help, thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Rob

What version of photoshop and windows?
Can you post some screenshots?
Here's another dds plugin you can try:

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your reply, I've downloaded the plugin, will have a look tomorrow.
I'm using the latest updated versions of Photoshop and win10, it also happened in previous versions though.
Image is a small corner of a 4096x4096 .dds zoomed in to 5000% (roughly), but it happens with every size, for example a 4x4 pixel image would also show the black edge with 4 pixels (2x2) as they are meant to be in the centre.
For large files it doesn't matter much, but the smaller ones get repeated or stretched on a surface, so then the black line gets visible.

Hi again Jeff,
Just in case, this is my 2nd reply to your answer because I have news since my previous reply 🙂
The other plugin you suggested does not give the black line 🙂 I haven't fully tested it in games yet so i'm not sure if the game accepts the files generated with it, but time will tell.
However I consider my question answered because with the new plugin doing it right that makes me believe the problem does not (solely) lie with Photoshop (or me), but is related to the nvidia plugin.
Thank you and have a great 2019!
Cheers!
