Only saving as PDF

I recently went to the latest version and found too many bugs so I uninstalled and went back 2 versions. The one thing I can't figure out is why all my PSD files converted to PDF and now even when I save as PSD it still only shows as a PDF. To open I have to select the app each time. Any suggestions?

Hi @doodlinbrandy, it could have to do with your system file associations. In Windows 11, Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose defaults by file type > choose program.

How have your files converted to PDF?? They can't just convert to another format.

Are you not saving them as Photoshop PDF by any chance?
