'Open With' window does not include CC programs

Hello - i recently upgraded my PC from windows 7 to windows 10, at which time i also upgraded to Adobe CC. I still have a couple CS6 programs on my computer that i was not ready to uninstall just quite yet. The problem with this is that when i try use the 'Open With' option on certain file types, only CS6 is available.

So for example - I want to open a jpeg or a pdf. I dont want these files to be opened by default by photoshop cc. So i right click>open with. Now the only options available are standard windows apps and photoshop cs6. If i want to open with photoshop cc i have to click choose another app>search for apps on this pc>go directly to the photoshop cc application within my pc.

Even after this it will not be added to the list. I tried using 'choose default program' and selecting CC and then reverting back to my preferred default, but it still wont add it to the list. I even went into my registry editor, and deleted CS6 out of all of these file types and they still show up. I somehow need to change the registry so that CC is an option for some reason it just wont show up. It would be nice to add other CC programs as well.
