Opening my raw files?

Hello everyone,I have Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom CS6 with camera raw plugin version 9.1.1.461 (which is the most up-to-date possible for CS6 from what I understand). I saved up my money and very recently bought the Sony a7III which uses ARW raw files. These files, however, cannot be opened by Photoshop or imported to Lightroom. Trying to find a workaround because I really can't afford Creative Cloud at the moment and want to keep using CS6 for as long as possible. At first I thought maybe I could use the Adobe DNG converter to convert them and then import but from what I understand it uses the software you have to process them so that doesn't work. I downloaded the latest version of camera raw but it doesn't apply to the software I guess since it's CS6. And shooting JPG is...not an option. Any ideas???

For reference I have adobe DNG converter version 10.1.0.864

The Sony A7 III was first supported in Camera Raw 10.3 (DNG converter 10.3)

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

Download the current DNG converter 10.5 from

Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

Then try again.

Using the DNG converter is exactly the right option in your situation.

You run the converter on batches of Raw files and it converts them to DNG files. You then open the DNG files in CS6.
