I'm not seeing an option in PS 23.1.1 to open in 64 bit mode on a Mac (OS 12.2). I am control clicking on the application > get info and there is no option to check/ open in 64 bit. Is this still an option in this version? Is it still benificial to work in this mode for very large file sizes? Thanks!

This option no longer exists in Mac OS 10.15, 11.0 and 12.0 and later. No worries, it is always on.

Anything 32 bit isn't supported in Catalina (10.15) or later, which is why you don't have the option.

OS X 12 (and many earlier such OSs) will only run 64-bit applications. There are no options because, well there are no options to run in anything but 64-bit mode.
