Hello
My computer specifications are as follows:
Operating system: Windows 10 pro (64-bit) ,
Processor: Intel Core i7-6820HQ 2.7GHz (8 CPUs) ,
Memory (RAM): 16 GB ,
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Quadro M1000m ,
Display mode: 1920 x 1080 .


What is the appropriate version of Adobe Photoshop to use based on the above specifications?

You should be able to run the current version of Photoshop with those specs. Be aware your M1000 is a bit slower and you did not list VRAM or available HD space. Check the Photoshop Minimum Requirements to confirm you can run the current version or 2022.
