Opinions On Smart Pens for use in Photoshop

I recently upgraded to Photoshop from another program, however, I cannot use my current stylus with Photoshop so I am trying to shop around for a new one. I can't seem to find a straight answer on what is compatible and what is not. Can anyone offer brands or two that are compatible with Photoshop?

Thank you in advance!

I'd have thought a stylus is compatible with a tablet rather than with Photoshop.

I can use my stylus with my computer however when using PS it doesn't seem to recognize the stylus. For example, I was trying to use the quick select tool to outline an eye to do an eye color change. Normally, I could use the fine point end of my style to draw the outline but with PS it didn't seem to recognize the stylus so I had to do my mouse touchpad. I was wondering if I need to get a stylus with Bluetooth and a click feature to use like a "mouse" in order to use it with PS.

I hope this makes sense.

I, like many others, use a Wacom tablet and pen (in my case a Wacom Intuos Pro M)
