OT: Firefox Not Displaying Forum Properly?

A quick off topic question.  Just recently Firefox has started displaying the forum with washed out colour and lack of contrast.

This is a screen shot of Firefox

And this is from the Win10 Edge browser, which looks OK.  Both browsers are zoomed 100% (Ctrl 0).  Is anyone else having this issue?  I'm only seeing it with the Adobe forums.  Other sites are displaying OK.

Hi Trevor - not a huge difference between browsers here - although the clearest is Internet Explorer (and it gives me an extra filter option not present in the others ??? )

Internet Explorer 11 :

Edge :

Chrome :

Firefox:

Hmmm...  I wonder what is going on then?  I emailed our Noel yesterday with yet another attempt to persuade him to come back start posting again, but he is seriously into helping with the Windows pre-release program, and too busy for us.  He is pretty good with Photoshop, but outstanding with Windows, and he would know about stuff like this.  He also gives Dag a hard time about colour management.

[EDIT]  Fixed it.  I turned off Firefox 'Use hardware acceleration' a few days ago — I can't remember why.  Turning it back on again has got things back to normal.

Yes, it would be nice if Noel came back. He does read occasionally, and even posted a comment in the "100%-thread".

Trevor, some of us have had problems with Firefox's font rendering in the Adobe forums for a long time. It's been up in the Forum Comments section and it looks exactly like your screenshot. The hardware acceleration tip came up there, but it didn't help me.

Obviously it has to be related to the fact that the forum loads a special Adobe font.

Oddly, since I installed a new Quadro card in one of my machines, it works fine there. On my other desktop system and a traveling laptop I just had to get used to it. It seems unfixable.

Dag I just had a wee search and found Forum Comments

Forum comments

But WTH is the Holding Room?

Holding Room

Are there other weird forums on the Adobe site?  I know about The Lounge. I think our Benjamin likes to wander about the nether regions offering shiny apples to Madison and being ever so helpful

Yes it really is a pity about Noel, but I must have tried three or so times now, so we'll have to accept that he doesn't love us any more.

It is a pity. I bump into Noel now and again on another forum and he has helped me a few times (for example, he was able to show me exactly why some blending operations look different at different zooms. I knew about previews but he was able to show further what was happening )

Oh yes, it's a jungle in there. Bring a torch and don't mind the spiders. They're harmless.

Some of them have been there all along. There's a color management forum that sees a new post exactly once every three months. There are forums for print design, web design, typography and even one for photography.

But...Dynamic Tag Management forum? Character Animation? Ink & Slide? Line? What are they all doing in there?
