P: Program error while opening or creating new document after Photoshop 22.1 update [2020]

THE UPDATE DOES NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE... INSTALLED TODAY, THEREFORE UP TO DATE, AND STILL HAVING THE ISSUE. I CANNOT EVEN CLICK A THING WITHOUT HAVING THE POP UP. 

I have the same issue, I cannot open *.jpeg files in Photoshop. I always get "Program Error". I have the newest version installed. I went through the whole checklist, without any success. Unfortunately Photoshop is becoming a liability in my workflow. Some things work fine, other things - some very simple tasks - don't. I am paying 1000 Euro for Creative Suite, but just also bought Affinity Photo, so I can open JPEG files again with no problem. What I also don't understand, why Photoshop still does not support webp files. As a webdesigner I need both jpeg and wepb alot.

Amazing that Affinity can open these files and not Photoshop (amazing also considering that 20 people work on Affinity and 20.000 people work on Photoshop). If you pay 1000 Euro a year for Creative Cloud and can't open JPG files, that's actually pretty sad really.

But hey, I try not to get upset. After all, with Adobe's new Sensai technology, I can now transfer makeup and lipstick from one photo to the other... very important stuff. Of course, that won't work either if your trying to open a portrait as a JPEG file.

This issue has been occuring for weeks, disabling the GPU (which is not detected anyway) helps... if I was able to close Photoshop (without the need to kill the process) properly, the setting would be saved as well.

When the GPU is disbled, selection functions are so slow...

Updating to 22.1.0.  did not help either....

v22.1 crashe, impossible to Quit , prompte impossible action error program.

the v21.2.4 perfectly work on this machine.

But, when I try to save a file, the same message appears. I can't even merge the layers.

This update continually crashes every time I open a file. I am going to try to go back to an earlier version. I just need this to work. I don't have time to be back and forth on this site. In fact, I wish I had an old Photoshop disc. I don't need fancy updates. I need it to work.

Infelizmente está dando esse erro, quando eu fui salvar outra imagem, não deu esse erro, não sei porque, tem alguams imagens que salva, e outras não. E não é so para salvar, quando eu vou copiar algo também acontece, entre várias outras coisas. Me ajuda, eu preciso entregar isso hoje!!!!!

Unfortunately it's giving this error, when I went to save another image, it didn't give this error, I don't know why, there are some images that it saves, and others not. And it's not so much to save, when I'm going to copy something, it also happens, among many other things. Help me, I need to deliver this today !!!!!

Camera raw nonostante abbia reinstallato la vecchia versione, continua ad aggiornarsi e quindi a non funzionare, qualcuno sa dirmi come bloccare ogni forma di aggiornamento photoshop, lightroom classic, bridge e camera raw compreso creative cloud? bloccarli in modo definitivo fino alla scadenza dell'abbonamento per poi passare ad Affinity Photo.

I have the lastes version, but Photoshop does not quit, I cannot exit without killing it, because of that error message.
