P: Remove Tool missing on Windows ARM

I'm using Photoshop 25.9.1 on one of the newly released copilot+ PC with SnapDrag. So far the software is working fine but I can not find "remove tool" anywhere. Is this a bug or that feature has not been yet ported on ARM?

I encourage you to not posting this. Why in the World you have to return your PC because the problem here is Adobe?
It's Adobe the culprit of this lack of feature. You can use "Remove Tool" on the web version of Photoshop!, but, locally, it's not available. That the most clear proof that Adobe doesn't want to put the feature in Photoshop for ARM. They can't be excused anymore. If it works on the web, why it's not working on local PC with ARM? It's Adobe's complete laziness.

FYI - there is a photo editing tool called Affinity that does support ARM architecture computers.  I know it is a one time purchase but not sure how much.  Anyone know anything about this?

The remove background now shows up just below a photo in the toolbar.  This just showed up recently.  The healing brush doesn't show remove background.  I just bought my Microsoft Surface - ARM.  I love it, but I am having issues with other companies not supporting it yet either.  Keep emailing these companies to let them know you want them to support ARM.

I think it could be a good idea if someone sue Adobe for promoting a Photoshop feature that is not available in the final product. We, as users, are paying good money for a final feature product, that Adobe refuses to finish. On a same ARM PC, you can run Remove Tool on Photoshop in the web! So, it's just lazy of Adobe not to include the Remove Tool in the desktop version of Photoshop on ARM. They have no excuse! Months and months waiting for Adobe to update this. We're wasting time and money on our works just because Adobe doesn't fix this problem.

Yes, I am on an ARM Surface Pro  I didn't see the remove tool until just recently.  I don't see it where it is supposed to be and I don't know if it had settings, etc. as I have not experimented with this.

I think your're confusing Remove background with Remove tool. They are different things. What's missing is Remove tool, not Remove background.

Microsoft's FREE photo editor now has an AI remove feature that works great.  I am slowly starting to use thier free version more than Photoshop.  Right now I start with Microsoft to complete the remove functionality, then move over to Photoshop to complete my editing.  But as Microsoft ads more features, for free, I am beginning to wonder why I am paying Photoshop for anything?

Oops!  I have the same issue, then.  I guess I will wait or not renew my subscription.  I signed up for a special deal last fall.  I am not happy with Adobe in general.  Prices are too high.  I am retired and would still like to use products.  I can't justify the costs.

Certainly agree prices are way too high for what we are getting.  With all the free AI tools out there that all you need to do is use plain English and it will do what you ask, I am not sure why I am still struggling with Photoshop's difficult to use functionality and missing tools.  I guess I am holding out hope that they will realize how far behind they are and catch up.  I have been a customer for a long time, but as I stated early I am finding myself using the application less and less.

I am using Photoshop version 26.9. One day, my remove tool vanished and I can't seem to get it back. I have tried editing my toolbar, but nothing appears in the extra tools section. 

Weirdly, when I select an object, the 'remove' tool appears in the quick access toolbar, but when I click it, nothing happens.

Please let this is driving me insane.

Thanks for confirming that resetting preferences didn’t resolve the issue. Let’s try a couple of additional steps:
 • Please update to the latest Photoshop version, 26.10, which was released today. You can do this through the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
 • In the Creative Cloud Desktop app, go to Apps > Photoshop > three dots (ellipsis) > Get add-ons. Check if there is a green tick next to the Remove Tool components. If not, add this component, then launch Photoshop and see if the tool appears and works as expected.

Let us know how it goes after trying the above.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I am having the same problem, no remove tool to be found. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, tried the Beta version, checked under Extra Tools, etc. I also do not have an option for "Get Addons" when clicking on the three dots next to the application.

After talking on the online chat, Harshit recommended submitting this on here.

After hours of searching why I was missing features within Photoshop, I found that the reason is because my device has a Windows ARM Processor. So far the features I've wanted to try out and realised I am missing are the remove tool and the remove distractions tool. Turns out they are within the web-based version which I can access on my Windows ARM Processor device, but they are not within the app version for my device.

Adobe currently has no date to add these features in for Windows ARM Processor devices, so I'd like to push that this is looked into and a development released which has this functionality. I specifically purchased my device for photo editing and not having full Photoshop functionality totally undermines why I bought the device and have the Adobe subscription...

PLEASE develope this for us Windows ARM Processor device users!

@Mandy_R9967 - I ended up returning my Surface Pro with Snapdragon/ARM laptop and built a custom desktop with a configuration that works and supports all Adobe capabilities.
