Paint Bucket Tool

For the paint bucket tool it has switched to "3D Material Drop Tool" I am not sure if that is for an update but if there is a possible way can i change it back? But it is also bugged as well.

Hi!

If you are already in the correct workspace, a click and hold or a right-click on the 3D Material Drop Tool in the toolbar will reveal the usual tools. 

You can also Alt+click on the tool to cycle between the alternate tools, or use Shift+[tool keyboard shortcut], in this case Shift+G (unless you changed a preference) to cycle them.

They are two different tools. The 3D tool appears if you are in the 3D workspace. Go to the top right of your screen, in the options bar, click the downward reveal arrow to see a list of workspaces. Choose Essentials. If that does not restore the previous tool, then go to the same place and click reset essentials.
