Panoramic stitch problem

Using PS 21.0.02 on my Windows 10 Desktop I stumbled upon the Automate - Photostitch tool, loaded a few screen grabs into it and was impressed with what it produced (below), however I have tried to recreate the effect with better quality frames, but simply cant get it to replicate the original, all attempts appear like the lower image, I have tried many times, with different settings but getting nowehere, It as though the blank canvas setting isnt long enough perhaps.

Can any anyone assist me or point me in the right direction ?
