Figure 1 shows the path. Made different selection over the path which is shown in the figure 2&3. Red portion in fig 2&3 shows unwanted selection. How to avoid this ??

OK, I am not sure I am understanding your issue. When you get to where you want a path element to end, hit the Escape key, and then carry on with the next bit.

If you have CC 2018, try using the new Curvature Pen tool. It is made for exactly this sort of situation, and makes it a cinch to make perfectly smooth curves.

If you are intending to stroke the paths, then you would probably be best doing it with two paths

I see you are making an array of them. There's no reason why you can't combine the paths into one. If you have used two paths, use the Direct selection tool and drag across the small path. Ctrl c to copy, and paste into the main path with Ctrl v. Don't merge and combine the paths though, or you'll loose the interior points.
