hello everyone, i've been using photoshop for sometime and I want to ask about pen tool. so I've been using pen to refine my drawing. at first it works really good, but when I tried to fill the path with color, it looks like this.

Photoshop_SFQSc6QJwI.png

as you can see above. the color is outside the path I've made. is there something I can do about it?

Filling a shape made with a path, works with closed paths i.e. those where the start and end points are the same. If the path is open, fill will make a straight line between those points.

For your purpose you would be better drawing the lines in Illustrator then using Illustrator's live paint to fill. It can cope with small gaps and treats several paths as one for filling.

In Photoshop you either need to close the paths or stroke the paths to make them lines and use a brush on a separate layer to add the fill colour.
