PDF turns lighter in Photoshop

Hi there,

for my study project I wanted to beautify some PDF's from my CAD Work in Photoshop.

But as soon as they are in PSD they turn much lighter and are not significant to read anymore.

Is there something I did wrong? Or are there any tips?

unfortunately I m not allowed to publish PDFs from Archicad because of the student license...

Do you know the specification and the resolution of the PDF you're using to open in Photoshop

– PDF/X-4 is usually recommended.
