Pen Barely Registers Photoshop Brush Smoothing (but Mouse Does)

As you can see in the video, the difference between my pen's smoothing compared to my mouse's is pretty stark. My pen does recognize smoothing, but the effect is pretty negligible. Is there some setting within PS I can adjust to help with this?

I originally thought this was a hardware issue, as I just got a new Huion Kamvas 16 (2021), but when I tested brush smoothing in Krita (another drawing software), it worked perfectly fine. So far I've restarted my computer a ton of times and "Reset All Tools" in Photoshop. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
