Pen Path lines disappear when activating another tool like Lasso or Transform

Hello!

Since using version 24.6, I noticed that pen guidelines disappear when activating another tool like Lasso or Transform. I'm a background artist for animation and I use the pen tool like using a pin and string to help me get a more accurate guide for my perspective drawings. It is a most helpful feature, but it has recently disappeared. To demonstrate what happens; I use the Pen too to create a Path, (usually, three anchors and two lines to create a guide to a vanishing point) Then using the Polygonal Lasso Tool I'll start to click along my guided Pen Path lines, however after I click once with the Lasso Tool the Pen Path lines disappear. Oddly if I click off the canvas with the Polygonal Lasso Tool the Path lines stay on screen. I've also noticed the disappearance of the path lines when I start to deform an object which comes in handy when I want to transform something accurately into perspective. 

Please let me know if this can be fixed or if there is a check box I need to click to have the path lines stay on the screen when using other tools.
