Pen pressure issues in Photoshop (21.1.2) Windows 10

Hi!

I've had issues with the pen pressure with both my tablets in photoshop specifically. Quite regularly the pen pressure would be ignored and a maximum pressure stroke would come out. It wouldn't be much of an issue if it wasn't so that it sometimes is up to every third stroke. I've troubleshooted my pen tablets, they don't have this issue in any other software. Apparenly I can't use phone support because I'm on a school plan so asking here is my best bet.

If anyone has any solutions it'd be a lifesaver.

Install the previous Photoshop version, it's the only thing that fixed the problem for me! Go to CC, look at all applications and click on the three dots under the program, there should be an option for other versions. I hope that the developers are looking at the forums, so that they know that this is happening...

Thank you, it seems to have worked! I hope so too, it's really a fundimental function of their software and shouldn't even be hard to notice before rolling out an update.

Hi!

I seemed to have solved it by rolling it back one version, but thank you for answering. I've got Windows Ink active, is it incompatible with the current version of Photoshop? I don't know what Wintab is and I don't have it.

I know it's not much use for this now, but I guess if anyone wants to reference this I've had this problem on a Wacom Intuos Pro M and a Wacom Intuos 4 L. The tablet driver I've got installed is 6.3.38-2.
