pen tool error

when i draw using the pen tool its comes autometicaly creating additional nods how can i rectify it

What exact version of Photoshop and operating system do you have, can you post a screenshot to highlight the issue

Not sure what you mean by nods but I don't see anything wrong with the way the Pen Tool is working for you

Hi Ged,

"Nodes" is a CorelDRAW term for what Adobe calls anchor points. "Nods" and "Mode" are just simple typos.

Hi its not a typos its a normal mode creating  pen tool node top one is auto mode automatically two nodes created

The most likely reason for the second anchor point is that you are accidentally doing a second click. What kind of mouse or other device are you using? How often does this happen? How fast do you have the speed of your double-click set to?

As for the part about typos, that was when Ged asked what you meant by "nods" without the "e". Photoshop calls them "anchor points", but it's okay if you don't know the terms.
