Persistent PNG transparency

Couldnt find this in the already posted. PNG transperency is removed when copy/pasting from browser.
The only acceptable fix is to ensure that transperency is retained during the copy/paste.

Only happens on windows os.

Hi @Misprintedzedruu! I know that can be frustrating.

Here’s a little workaround that might help: instead of copying the image directly from your browser, try right-clicking the image and selecting “Copy image address.” Then in Photoshop, go to File > Place Embedded, and paste the URL where it asks for the filename. This will download the image directly into a Smart Layer, so you can Edit Contents or Rasterize Layer while keeping the transparency intact.

Alternatively, you can also save the png to your computer and then drag it into Photoshop.

Hope that does the trick! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks, ive seen all the work arounds. Unfortunately, they are quite hard to automate.

It's not Photoshop's fault, either the browser or OS is adding a background color. Photoshop is accepting whatever is in the clipboard without adding a background.

it might not be adobes fault, but i do not belive that they can't fix it. Release a clipboard mamanger that bipasses the problem.  Or create a plugin that bypasses the problem.
