Photo restoration filter - message saying Currently disabled

Hello guys,

Does anyone have an issue with Neural filters --> Photo restoration feature. I am seeing today the message that the filter is temporarily disabled and I am not sure if the issue is in my machine or global one. I am working on MacBook Pro with M1. I tried restarting Photoshop Beta and Photoshop, restarting the laptop and the message is still there. Cache files are also deleted. I attach a screenshot for reference.

Hope someone can advise :))

Thanks a bunch and keep creating :))

Cheers,

Violeta

Hey, @Violeta314739390to9. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

I'll move this to discussions for now. Ensure that Photoshop has the required permissions on MacOS. Follow the steps shared here: https://adobe.ly/49joQ5o

A quick tip is to try this with an image of a recognizable person with facial features. If this does not help, there could be various reasons.

One of the reasons could be an incomplete/corrupted installation of the Neural filter. You can follow these steps to re-download the Neural Filter:

Quit Photoshop, delete or rename the following folder, Start Photoshop, and try again:

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/
PHSP/25/Internal/com.adobe.nfp.gallery/PluginData

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Unfortunately, this doesn't fix my issue. Still broken.
I have an i9 13900k pc with 64gb ram and 4080super. The image is around 3kx2k res 72 dpi and cant do anything because it says temporary disabled this effect.
