Why does my photoshop app shut down when I try to print?

Mac or Windows? What printer? Is this happening with any image or just a few / one?

What printer, OS, version of Photoshop? 

Quit Photoshop if running.
Relaunch Photoshop and open the file that you want to print.
Press the Spacebar on your keyboard before you click File > Print. This process resets printer preferences that have been written into the image.

Moved from Photoshop Developers to Photoshop.

 

Try resetting your Print dialog by holding the Spacebar while selecting File > Print. Also try the steps in this help file:
