Photohop lags

First and foremost,

RAM - 32 gig

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor

Photoshop was working fine, no problems at all, but then just out of nowhere, i got MASSIVE lags. All the drivers are installed, up to date, working fine for a few months. I didnt install anything but games from steam inbetween, no settings changed, nothing. Photoshop just got tired i guess.

When i create a new file, omg, it lags for like a minute straight before it returns to somewhat normal. Still lags but its ok to work on.

The funny thing is, task manager shows that nothing is out of the ordinary, photoshop doesnt take more RAM than it need to, all pc components are fine, not overheating or overworking.
Fells like Gandalf casted a spell just to piss me off.

Even after i updated photoshop (thought that wat the problem) the spell still was active, lagged like i was using Nokia 3310.
After restart though, i seems its working fine now, But im not convinced it is fully fixed.

It also happens on the Kamvas 16 4k, the tablet im using, on the other monitor its work somewhat good. I wrote to the huion support for help, but thought, why not ask here as well

Hey, @lionel_6088. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Has this started to happen since a recent OS update? When this happens again, check the Windows Event Viewer and tabs like Application, System, and System for any Error or Critical event logs.

Also, try this:
Go to Edit > Preferences (CTRL + K) > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable 'GPU Compositing,' restart Photoshop, and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
