Every time I start up Ps it will hide all the toolbars, layer panels and so on. Yes, I know how to get them back, but I don't want to have to open them up every single time I do something. CS6 never had this problem. Please help

Checking tools under Windows only provides temporary fix for that session. As soon as I turn off and on again the toolbars disappear

Please update Photoshop to CC 2018 version via Creative Cloud desktop app and check if that helps.

    Hi dangn,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. You may try resetting the Photoshop preferences back to defaults and let us know if that helps.

Here's the link: Preferences in Photoshop

    Thanks,

Solved, I reset my preferences and it's good now.

I managed to recreate the problem. On first startup after resetting the preferences, it asks if I want to import regularly used colors and styles and whatnot to a new library. If I click cancel, it will remove all panels and show only a blank Libraries panel.
