Finally, after days and days.... of working through the obstacles. There were so many hiccups that I thought the nightmare would win over the battle. But not, with Hannah (and her colleagues help), the problem was solved. I'm a happy customer!!

Thank you very much, just started having the problem some days ago after updating my WINDOWS. This is a life saver bro. Thanks very much. Works like magic. Tobedesigns from Nigeria amitk55641637ā€‹

People, perhaps this is just a problem with WINDOWS and not ADOBE so, perhaps we could stop complaining about adobe that much.

Do well to copy the link and share with your photoshop friends.ā€‹

I'd be happier if Adobe would fix this issue themselves instead of me trying to put a band-aid on it. This issue happened to me yesterday with the new WIN 10 update. so frustrated with ADOBE.

However, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro works pretty darn well. - Chad T

Please help! I'm trying to make something for my mom for mothers day and i need Photoshop!

Nicole. Autodesk Sketchbook Pro is now FREE. It doesn't have, say the band-aid or magic wand but it is still a pretty good art program. you might look at Krita as it is free to use too.

I am only recommending this because. Well if PS cc doesn't work and people need to work. these are good free alternatives. I shouldn't be expected to patch it up a program I both need and pay for, just so I can do my job.

I have not been so frustrated with a customer service as Adobe with their copy and paste responses. I hate to get on a high horse. I do work as a contract artist professionally for the animation studios. and when I don't work, I do not get paid. and I get paid by the hour. this has actually cut into my paycheck this week. the cost I'd say now out weighs what I paid for an entire years subscription to the full Adobe Suite.

For anyone this solution has NOT worked for, check to see if you have multiple versions under the Photoshop folder in the Registry, ie. 120, 110, 100, etc. I tried MULTIPLE times to adjust my 120 as the answer suggested, but it made no difference. It wasn't until I went in to my 110 and added the 32 Dword that it worked for me. Also, as someone who doesn't know **** about computers, I have seen instructions that tell you to put 24000, and others that tell you to use the size of your RAM. I think I have a 4gb so I ultimately used 4098 as opposed to 24000.. Not sure if that matters.

JJMackā€‹ klaus clearly stated multiple times that he was unable to even access the performance menu to begin with

Hi markl35035581,

Sorry that you cannot add the registry edit for Photoshop as it is not showing up in the Registry Editor.

Have you updated to the latest version of Photoshop CC 19.1.5 as that should fix the earlier error message as mentioned above?

I'd recommend that you reinstall Photoshop from the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash
