Question

Photoshop 2020 or Photoshop CC

I have Photoshop 2020 (V 21.2.1) and Photoshop CC ( V 20.0.10) - both installed on my PC

and I´m a little bit confused, what do I really need.

Does this parallel installation make sense?

Would you recommend to uninstall Photoshop 2020 and keep only Photoshop CC?

Many Thanks for your answer !

Klaus

On every "big" update you have the chance to keep the older version installed.

This makes sense for example if you are not shure that all installed third-party plugins will be working with the new version.

No, because Photoshop CC is the older version. If you are happy with the new version and all worked fine

I would unistall Photoshop CC and keep Photoshop 2020.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

IMO you should always had more than one version of Photoshop installed. So you will always have a version of Photoshop you can use the next time Adobe brakes the current version of Photoshop.
