How do I create Transparent Stripes or shapes using the Gradient tool in Photoshop 2020?

I teach a high school class and my students love this feature and now it's gone this morning with the update. Thanks!

Hi there,

Could you please checkout this article that explains how to set transparency while using the Gradient tool? https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/using/gradients.html#specify_the_gradient_transparency

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

Sounds like you've been using the preset gradients for this. In photoshop cc 2020 you can get the old legacy gradients presets by going to Window>Gradients and loading the Legacy Gradients.
