Photoshop 2020 won't start

When i try to open Photoshop 2020, i get the splash screen en then nothing. No photoshop, no-fault message. The following things i have tried:

-Restarting the computer - no result,

-deleting my preferences - no result,

-reinstalling photoshop - no result,

- installing the previous version - no result,

-Giving photoshop administrator rights - no result

-Giving every user every right to photoshop - no result

The last two options did help me in the past because i seems to have issues every time i get a new update from photoshop. It is getting frustrating, and yes, i do have a legal version through the cc subscription.

I run a Windows 10, 64 bit, Laptop with an Intel Core i7 2.60 GHz With 16 GB DDR3 Ram And a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M graphics card.

Have you tried uninstalling Photoshop and then running the CC Cleaner tool, then reinstalling via the CC desktop app?

Not cleaning up or doing a full uninstall and installing over the top of a corrupted install often doesn't fix issues.

This did seemed to work. Quite the hassle everytime i get an update from Adobe. Hope that next time it will just work, and i can spend my time editing photo's instead of restarting my pc several times and get all my settings and plugns back in order.

You shouldn't have to go through this with a standard update - something went wrong with the installation.

Normally you would update your Photoshop, while keeping the previous in place and the uninstalling the previous once you are assured everything works as expected.
