Photoshop 2021 black screen error

This happened suddenly and I can't fix it. The application is blank, start screen doesn't load. I've seen other people having the same problem but their solutions didn't help. I'm able to open PSD documents that I've saved to my pc but I can neither open the home screen nor a new file. l use Ps 22.3.1-macOS Catalina, I couldn't dare to update anything without asking.
