Bottom of window is off screen and I can't resize it. Tried the following:
• Reset workspace,
• Different workspaces.
• Shift-Option shrinks the window but springs back off screen.
• Shut down and restart.
The window bottom remains offscreen.
Please help
Problem solved with a simple tip from Robantance in 2017....... Hold down the shift key while resizing the window from any window edge. in my case, only the right side window edge was visible. Shift-Drag was the perfect solution.

Hitting the Green Maximize button in upper left corner of the window usually works.

Thank you for your suggestion. I forgot to mention that I did try the green minimize button button and it did not fix the problem. I note there are a lot of discussions on this subject so I will check them out.

Mojave 10.14.6. This is a recurring problem. There was a solution to the problem way back in 2015. The ui scaling under the preferences menu should be set to 100%. On this Mac the scaling is set on Auto but it is greyed out and could not be adjusted. This is a nightmare. Hopefully I'll find an answere tomorow. Thank you and good night.
