Photoshop 2022 crashes mac computer Monterey

Crashes crashes and more crashes. I have Photoshop 2022 mac OS Montery 12.5.1 Its a 2019 Mac, that works fine in every other way and has not given me any issues with any more program. But any time I try to use PS after a few minuets it crashes my whole computer. I have tried EVERYTHING anyone has ever suggested on any forum I can find. Nothing works, I have tried uninstaling it, installing a older version, doing all the " un click this to clear that". Nothing works, why am I paying for this program when its garenteed NOT to work? And why should I have to be the one to fix it? Adobe should be the one to fix it! And I don't want to hear " just go click on PS in your system prefernces" that's not the issue and you know it!

I had the exact same problem with PS22.0.0 and OS Sonoma 14.1, on a 2020 MBP 2.3GHZ Quad Core Intel i7

Through Creative Cloud, updated to 25.3.1 and VOILA, problem fixed.

Und nein, das hat mit Apple nichts zu tun. Der Hersteller der Software ist für die Kompatibilität mit den jeweiligen Betriebssystem verantwortlich.

Hi, in the past I remember many cases where Photoshop was using the memory sub-system in so big chunks that it was the sole program that showed when there is a memory error. If your computer has removable RAM, try to remove one of the sticks to troubleshoot, then put it back in and remove the other one. and test Ps again.

In addition, have you checked your hard drive with Disk Utility recently? Launch it from Spotlight or the Applications folder, then select your disk and run First Aid.

it's a 2019 computer, with NO other issues, no other programs crash my computer no reports have shown any errros.

You could try to do a clean wipe and restore from your Creative Cloud app to make sure you don't have any leftover files:

It is suggested that memory for Ps should not go over 70%, yours is set to 100%

It could be you are hitting some issues due to the age of your Mac OS, it might be a good idea to go over the system requirements for Ps and see if your system does meet them.
