Photoshop 2022 Crashes nearly every time Rectangular Marquee tool is used

Nearly every time I use the Rectangular Marquee Tool Photoshop freezes and the only way I can close the program is to use the Task Manager. Was hoping this would have cleared within the the last handful updates but it hasn't yet.

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Please try to disable the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, relaunch Photoshop to check if it helps.

My photoshop 23.4.2 keeps freezeing when I use the rectangular marquee tool and when I resize photos. This has been occurring for the past month. The only solution is to control/alt/delete and restart the program. I already unchecked my graphics processor a while ago. That did not help. I'm using Windows 11 with a AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics, 64bit, 32GBRAM, 2.90 GHz,

23.4.2 crashes for me when I use the clone stamp. I have to restart the PC, then photoshop will not reload preferences so I have to go into the preferences and uncheck the Graphics processor so it does not crash due to that (and the box so new files open up the correct size for copied images). Then hopefully a day or so of use before it crashes again.

Very disappointing that there is not a fix yet. I don't know why I spent money on the graphics card if I cannot use it in PS. Also, don't know why I subscribe to PS 22.
