Photoshop 2022 Not Working...

Photoshop 2022 is completely useless to me. Nothing works. I cannot select and properly paste an object using old or new selection tools. Object layers are attaching themselves to other layers and I cannot separate them without deleting the other layers which is completely counterproductive and unacceptable. Hiding the others layers doesn't help the problem. New tools are great when they work and don't mess up an already great program. This is ridiculous. People can't work like this.  I'm reloading PS 2021.

Hi Amy, Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

If that doesn't help, it may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Please forgive my extremely late reply. I read your reply a few minutes ago. I was frustrated and very done when I submitted the original inquiry; I chose to reload PS 2021 and used it until June 2022. I reloaded PS 2022. I've been using it for over a month and everything has been fine with no problems.
