Photoshop 2022 slow and lagging, lut apply, merging layers etc

Deactivating native canvas worked for me! Thank you JJMack! This lagging thing was driving me nuts!

Since the latest update I've had a problem with cropping. Every time I crop an image it takes anywhere from three to ten minutes to process the crop. It's a massive waste of time. Also whenever I update Photoshop or windows, I have a period of a few days where Photoshop starts getting stuck on the white arrow and I have to force quit. Again and agan.  It's incredibly frustrating. Sorry this doesn't help at all. I'm just incredibly annoyed and my paycheck will be smaller this week as a result of spending hours of time troubleshooting my machine. 

I can promise you that the version I installed is the beta version.

Jeff wrote there are fixes in the Photoshop  beta for LUT. Version 23.1 is not a Photoshop beta version use the Creative Cloud Desktop to install Beta Photoshop to see if it has addressed  your problem.

I just tried the 23.1.0 Beta Release and the LUT issue remains. The performance is so bad when there is a color lookup adjustment layer applied in the document. I'm using the pre-installed Adobe LUTs. It's only been bad since the latest Photoshop release.

@SageCGi No, there are no fixes for LUTs in 23.0.2. As stated above, there are fixes for LUTs in the Photoshop Beta which you can find here in the Creative Cloud desktop app:

Yes. It has everything in 23.0.2 plus new fixes. It's a completely separate install so you can install and test it and keep any release versions installed.

Does it have full functions of release version? It was working fine before update, now all 64x64x64 luts take ages to apply, but when i apply it with the action transfered from previous version it has no issues, but if i manually change lut for same lut that is from action it need 10sec to apply, and merging layers with them takes 10-15 sec  

Whenevr I apply adjustment layers - especially color lookups I have huge preformance issues. Can't move objects/layers - takes forever. Cant transform - The delay when adjustment layers are activated makes PS unusable. Every click results in a 1-5sec spinning wheel or very delayed.

I have to turn off all the adjustment layers to work within the document and then turn them back on when I am done. 

Does anyone else have this issue, know why its happening, or have a solution for it?
