Photoshop 2024 problem in Gradient Map features

Explorer ,
Jun 03, 2024 Jun 03, 2024

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, Photoshop 2024 has a bug in the Gradient Map.

For example setting a gradient map from 100 percent Black to white does not work correctly.

Please pay attention to it.

It works fine for me. Just how does it not work correctly?

This short video shows my mentioned bug.

After setting 100 % Black to 0 % Black and confirm dialog you can see the bug.

In older versions of Photoshop, this method worked correctly and the final image looked in Black channel only.

I haven't seen your video as I have no wish to sign up to Google Drive.

However, a  0,0,0,100 to 0,0,0,0 gradient map works here, provided I set the gradient map mode to 'classic'.

It also works in the adjustments menu here - provided I set the method to Classic before setting the 0,0,0,100 and 0,0,0,0 end stops.

I'm using v 25.9.0 on Windows 11
